Good Boys is an upcoming Comedy film directed by Michael Showalter and written by Aaron Abrams "Good Boys" Three 12-year-old friends are invited to a party at the house of the most popular sixth-grade boy. It is not just any party, but one with a forecast of abundant kisses courtesy of the chance of the bottle. The problem is that no one has any idea what it is, what kissing is about, so they decide to gather tools and instruments to camouflage themselves and chew on a neighbor who lives squeezing with her boyfriend on the street, but not before hitting a disgusting monumental watching porn on the internet. What they do know is that to kiss you have to ask permission, one of the many symptoms of the modernity of this huge comedy called Good Boys and that for a couple of weeks can be seen on the various HBO platforms.
Taking advantage of the father's absence, they rummage through each sector of the house until they finally find what they are looking for. But the camera does not understand fantasies and returns an indisputable image: those treasures found in the mother's chest of drawers are sex toys of all kinds and for multiple holes. Of the coexistence of childhood and youth innocence with the adult world, this anomaly speaks, among other things, on the horizon of contemporary comedies that dare to bring together minors and comforters on the same plane. Because nothing here is common even when it seems. The concept of three little popular boys getting ready for a party with a lot of initiation is reminiscent of Supercool, especially if the producers of Good Boys include Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, writers of that 2007 film that catapulted Jonah Hill to fame.
Principal photography commenced on February 20, 2019 in Chicago, United States and concluded on June 4, 2019. The film is set for release on June 28, 2020.
